Recommendations focus on seven key findings that, implemented as a continuum of support, will assist in increasing enrollment, attendance, and success in school for homeless unaccompanied youth, and in reengaging young people who have left school. Barbara Dexter, Secondary Teacher Specialist, works with adolescents, especially youth on their own, and provides outreach, advocacy, supplemental educational services, and support to access non-educational services.
